Special Prayer for Provincial chapter

30. Lord, who promised that where two or three were gathered together in your name, there you would be in the midst of them,
– we ask you to be present at our Provincial Chapter so that all that is achieved is done in your name and contributes to the good of the Province and of the Order.

31. Lord, who enliven your Church with the fire of your Spirit and direct it with your Light,
– grant that all the members of our Provincial Chapter be inspired by the Love of that same Spirit, so that they may bring everything to conclusion according to your will.

32. Lord our God, grant that our Provincial Chapter be humbly attentive to the signs of the times,
– confidently search for your will, under the direction of the Holy Spirit.

33. Visit, Lord, with your grace the Religious of our Chapter,
– enlighten them with your Spirit and clothe them with your strength.

34. Illumine Lord, the Religious of our Chapter,
– so that with all wisdom and prudence they may take the decisions that our Province needs.

35. Pour forth, Lord, your grace on the Religious of our Chapter,
– inspire them with what they should say, reveal to them the way they should follow, and give them your help in what they have to do.

36. Lord, who dispose al things with wisdom and move hearts with gentleness,
– pour your spirit over this Chapter so that they may find the way of authentic renewal.

37. Lord, who have given us the Augustinian Vocation that we may search for you in community,
– may the Religious of our Chapter and all the members of our Province pray and work so that the ordinances, elections and appointments of the Chapter may be the expression of your Divine Will.

38. O God, who are the only foundation for our Hope,
– entrust the special care of our Province to a brother who, with your help, will make it progress in the service of your Church.

39. Lord, who know the heart of your sons,
– grant us a Prior Provincial who, according to the heart of our Father St. Augustine, may serve his brothers in holiness.

40. Lord, who commanded us to love one another,
– send your Spirit on the Religious of our Chapter, so that they may elect a Prior Provincial who will guide us towards true unity in charity.

41. Lord, who enliven your church with the strength and gifts of your Spirit and renew it unceasingly day by day
– may our Provincial Chapter be for all the Religious of the Province a call to be more faithful to our vocation to the Consecrated Life.
