Almighty God and Father,
we praise you for Jesus Christ your Son,
who, in unity with the Holy Spirit,
founded the Church as a holy society,
showered her with blessings,
and endowed her with countless gifts.

This society, as an expression of her holiness,
has begotten numerous religious families,
whose sons and daughters,
living the evangelical counsels of chastity, poverty, and obedience,
endeavor to follow and imitate your Son Jesus Christ more faithfully
and in their way of life anticipate the future kingdom.

We give you thanks
for the fact that among these families is the Recollection,
which, impelled by a special collective charism
and desiring to live the Augustinian consecrated life with renewed fervor,
follows Christ, searches for the truth, serves the Church,
and strives to reach the perfection of charity,
living in fraternal community,
according to the mind and spirit of our Father Saint Augustine.

We praise you Lord, because from its very beginning
you have aided this our family with your grace,
you have protected her in difficulties
and have produced in her abundant fruits of holiness.

For all of this, Lord, we give you thanks,
and we beg you to continue assisting us,
to make us rich in vocations,
and to give our members the grace of being faithful to our charism
and of living out our religious consecration profoundly and generously.

May your love, which unites us in fraternal community life,
be spread to all people to win them for Christ
and unite them to him within your Church.

We present our humble and confident prayer to you,
trusting in the intercession of Our Lady of Consolation,
our Father Saint Augustine, and all the saints of our Order.

Through Jesus Christ, our Lord,
in communion with the Holy Spirit,
now and forever.
