Hail, Mary!
We greet you and we greet the Father.
The Lord is with you and with us.
We know this and we experience this
because you brought him to us as man.
Full of grace,
you are full of grace
because the Giver of Grace is in you.
You are holy because the Holy One is in you.
That grace overflows into us,
shares your holiness with us sinners,
so that we can empty ourselves of sin
and fill ourselves with the presence of God.
The Lord is with you,
within you.
Share him with us
so that he may be within us
and we can pass him on to the world,
converted to joy, fraternity, and equality.
Blessed are you among women
and among all men.
Blessed because of you is our humanity
because through you it has been assumed by the divinity;
it reaches your Son, the “human God.”
May it be a humanity blessed with peace,
justice, development, and respect for everyone.
And blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus,
Jesus, the blessed one, the holy one.
Through you, his Mother,
may he grant holiness to all of us
and to the Order of Augustinian Recollects.
Amen.
