A fund to provide needings

The OAR Foundation is a fund which has as its finality to serve as an instrument of financial assistance provided for the members of the Augustinian Recollect family. More specifically it is intended as an aid to the provinces, to the female religious of the cloistered convents, the Augustinian Recollect sisters of the active life and to the missions under the care of the Order. The Foundation is governed by statutes approved by the Prior General and his Council on March 18, 1993.

Contributions

The funds of the Foundation are provided by and maintained with:

– Contributions of the General Curia and the provinces of the Order
– Voluntary contributions of the vicariates, delegations and local communities of the Order
– Contributions of the Augustinian Recollect religious sisters.

Particular donations of the laity and associations and institutions contacted and motivated by members of the Augustinian Recollect Family. Such contributions to the fund can be made to the provincial curias or directly to the Foundation at the General Curia.

Recipients

In Order to receive assistance from the Foundation the petitioner should present a solicitude to the General Council in which the goals of the project and the necessary funding are clearly demonstrated. Such a request must have received the prior approval of the major superior of the religious, friars or sisters, and, in the case of the cloistered communities, the federal president of these communities.
