We interview Fr. Carlos Mª Domínguez, prior provincial of the Province of Santo Tomás de Villanueva. He tells us what means and suppose today “to be creators of communion”, words that Pope Francis addressed to the Order of Augustinian Recollects when he received them in audience on the occasion of the 55th General Chapter.
In addition he makes a brief analysis of the Church in America and highlights the importance of New Evangelization in Europe. It speaks of the young people and of the correct thing that has been the election of this subject for the next Synod of the Bishops.
He speaks of the personal, community and pastoral renewal that is going to have to happen in the Order of Augustinian Recollects to make reality “the joy of the Gospel will be noticed in our way of living and of announcing Jesus.”
It analyzes the importance that the young people have in the transmission of the Gospel and bets on a young Augustinian Recollect laity, “demanding bet but also very exciting”.
