OAR in Facebook.The Augustinian Recollects reach 2.200 followers in Facebook
It has only been eight months since the Augustinian Recollects opened their Facebook page and there are now 2,200 faithful followers in what is a world wide phenomenal.
It is significant that our Facebook web page has the same followers as the Spanish Conference of Catholic Bishops which also has its Facebook page.

Our “fans” can catch up to our news in our official web site and interact with the Order represented by a friar that is always aware of our followers participation and demands.
Venezuelans are our most active followers
Other statistics say that 50% are men and the other half are women. More than half are 18 to 34 years old. 42% are Venezuelan, Argentinian (19%), Colombian (8%), Philippines (6%), American (4%), Mexican (3%) and Spanish (3%).
How can you become a faithful follower?
It’s as easy as having a Facebook account and become a fan in our Official Facebook page.

The Order’s site keeps adjusting to new functions in what is called Web 2.0. We are open to sharing our news with more than 150 social networks. Our web page lets you comment all the news that is sent to our users registered in Facebook.
Promote Augustine’s philosophy of life and charisma
The Augustinian Recollect mission is to follow Christ, serve the Church and promote St. Augustine’s way of living a Christian life. We fulfill our mission in various ways and one of them is through the use of the world wide web and sharing who we are through other social networks.
