During its last meeting, the General Council of the Order approved the official logo for the General Chapter to be celebrated in Granada (Spain) from October 4. Significance
The author himself has sent a brief explanation of the logo to be presented throughout the General Chapter starting from October 4, 2010 in Granada (Spain)
Cross is symbol of hope. It represents the saving act of the redemptive presence that gives hope to the heart of every Christian.
Heart refers to the Augustinian Recollect identity that continues the spiritual search started by St. Augustine.
Colors are the image of the Augustinian Recollect charism: contemplative, communitarian and apostolic. The three images of the religious -each color- form a community of faithful and committed disciples who exercise the ministry in the name of the Church.
Eight Flames that burn from the heart signify the eight Provinces of the Order growing, reviving and enlivening the Augustinian Recollect charism.

Theme
The General Council wishes to invite all religious to live on hope and to prepare the next General Chapter with renewed hope, for that is attached to the logo the phrase from the first letter of St. Paul to Timothy, which serves as a theme for the 54th General Chapter of the Order: “We put our hope in the living God” (1Tm. 4,10).
