350th Anniversary of Presence in Casanare
The 350th anniversary of the presence of the Augustinian Recollects in this mission territory was celebrated last February 1 and 2 at the sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Manare (Paz de Ariporo), the patron of Casanare. The feast of the Presentation of the Lord in the temple was celebrated on day 2. This feast is traditionally known as Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria.

Tere García, agustina recoleta seglar, periodista y presentadora del programa “Todo México somos hermanos” en Radio Capital de México, ha preparado una serie de vídeos en los que ciudadanos mexicanos expresan lo que para ellos supone la visita del máximo pontífice.
Capellanía china de los agustinos recoletos en Madrid
Extracto del programa Pueblo de Dios de Televisión Española dedicado a la tarea de la Iglesia en España con las poblaciones inmigrantes. Una de las capellanías nacionales existentes en Madrid es la que atiende a los católicos de lengua china, cuyos responsables e iniciadores son religiosos agustinos recoletos. El arzobispo, Antonio María Rouco, instituyó oficialmente el pasado 11 de octubre la capellanía para inmigrantes chinos en la provincia eclesiástica de Madrid. La sede se mantendrá en la parroquia de Santa Rita, atendida por los agustinos recoletos en el barrio de Chamberí, y contará con una subsede en la parroquia de Cristo Rey, en el madrileño barrio de Usera, donde la comunidad china es más numerosa.
