Presentation of the Augustinian Recollect program of activities for the World Youth Day 2011

More than 600 young men and women from 14 countries will join the days properly called ARWYD – which fuses the official initials (WYD) with those of the youth movement in the Order (RAY) -, and its activities will square with the grand encounter of the youth of the world with Benedict XVI. The venue will be Colegio Agustiniano in Madrid. Also joining the days will be the OAR Prior General, the priors provincial, some Augustinian Recollect bishops, and dozens of Augustinian Recollect religious and lay from all over the world.

Scheduled activities for the ARWYD

Among the scheduled activities we highlight two encounters in some Recollect parishes in Madrid, the visit to the two Augustinian Recollect monasteries in the Spanish capital, and the catechesis that the youth will receive from some of the Augustinian Recollect bishops coming from all over the world.
