On August 5, the General Chapter of the Augustinian Recollect Missionaries ended with the motto “Show us Lord your ways” and chose Sr. Nieves Mari Castro Pertiñez as the new Superior General of the MAR.
Sr. Nieves Mari in recent years has fulfilled the mission of being Master of novices of the common novitiate for America and Europe in Bogota. Before, he spent 21 years in Venezuela carrying out one of the main charisms of the Missionary Agustinas Recoletas: the mission.
